BARNSLEY based MCD Home and Garden UK is expanding again - less than 18 months after being formed.
In September 2015 MCD UK opened its doors for trading on the Grange Lane industrial estate and soon became an internet sensation. Within six months the business, which sells goods for the home and garden, expanded into a second larger unit and hired four new members of staff.
Now the company is to set on another four new workers. Director Martin Blacksell said: "It's great to see the business growing so quickly. It is wonderful to be able to offer more local folk jobs.
"In a time when many companies are cutting back we are growing rapidly. This year we've already taken on one extra sales assistant and we are sure that 2017 will see even more positions arising."
