FORMER Eastenders star Dean Gaffney pleaded guilty to speeding in Barnsley and fined almost £300.

The 43-year-old was caught driving at 54mph in a 40mph zone on the A616 near Langsett on December 14 last year.

He was fined £290 on Thursday and given three penalty points.
