FIREFIGHTERS helped an injured woman from a car which had overturned at the Birdwell end of Sheffield Road on Tuesday afternoon.
She was taken to Barnsley hospital suffering from neck and back injuries after she was freed from the Corsa, which had been in a collision with a Fiesta.
The female driver of the Fiesta was also taken to hospital, she was complaining of chest pains.
