Out of favour midfielder James Bailey has left Barnsley by mutual consent.
The 26-year-old signed a two-year deal with The Reds a year ago but fell out of favour with both Danny Wilson and Lee Johnson.
The former Derby County and Crewe Alexandra midfielder made 29 appearances in all competitions for Barnsley.
