DARFIELD art and Craft exhibition has received its first ever entry form from three generations of the same family.

Three pencil sketches produced by grandfather Gerald Bradbury, son David amd grandson Alexander marks the first time the annual exhibition has been able to show the talents of three generations of one family.

Geoffrey Hutchinson, chairman of the Darfield Amenity Society, whose members organise the exhibition said it is just one of three entries that have struck him as unusual.

Other entries that caught his eye include a striking 3-D piece by GCSE art student Thomas Paskell illustrating a 'stop smoking' theme using a dynamic plastic window and Alexander Bradbury's rare taxidermy collection displaying the use of animal skins, mainly from exotic animals, top produce useful objects such as purses and handbags and items that would not be possible to produce today.

Apart from these unusual entries there will also be more than 80 exhibits of all mediums on display alongside the two day traditional craft demonstration.

The exhibition will take place at darfield church hall this weekend.
