PREMIERSHIP footballer Chris Morgan had a hair-raising experience when he joined pub regulars in having body parts waxed for charity.

Sheffield United captain Morgan was in the Bridge at Penistone on Sunday running an auction for Children in Need.

He had successfully flogged several signed football shirts but drinkers had a whip round and when more than £200 was collected they convinced Chris to have a leg waxed.

The no-nonsense defender could be marking Wayne Rooney if he plays against Manchester United tomorrow — he will be hoping things go smoothly.
