POUNDING drums, heavy bass and big guitar riffs were the order of the day for crowds at the Party in the Park at Carlton.
Hundreds of spectators poured into the park to rock out to popular songs performed by a bunch of local tribute bands.
Organiser Craig Savage said more than 1,500 people walked through the gates to enjoy the day of live music, beer and even the odd spot of sunshine. "It was absolutely brilliant and lots of people have been in touch to say how much they enjoyed it."
