TWO brothers have started repairing a water damaged chapel at St Mary’s Church, Barnsley, which is home to a First World War memorial.
@body:Erny and Brooks Riddiough’s uncle Ernest was killed at Ypres and is included on the memorial column.
The brothers were upset about the water damage when they saw it and decided to do something about it.
“We are hoping it’s only going to take a few weeks. Father Patrick Duckworth is going to do a ceremony to rededicate it.â€
