SUPERSUB Patrick Kelly fired Barnsley into the third round of the FA Cup for the first time in three years with a 1-0 win at Peterborough United.
Kelly came off the bench to tap home his third goal of the season at London Road.
Barnsley had the better chances, but had to wait until the 75th minute to open the scoring.
Peterborough barely threatened as Murphy Cooper had little to do in the visiting net.
Portuguese Fábio Jaló came in for his first start of the season whilst Georgie Gent made his first appearance since March.
The Tykes made a good start to proceedings with Davis Keillor-Dunn proving his usual nuisance self for the Posh defence.
Caylan Vickers, on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, provided a nice cross which Keillor-Dunn nodded over in the opening ten minutes.

Peterborough's first chance of the game fell to Declan Frith, who drove his way into the box after a determined from down the left before firing into the side netting.
Luke Williams' side felt aggrieved when they perceived Tykes' stopper Murphy Cooper to have handled outside the box.
Keillor-Dunn thought he had broken the deadlock on the stroke of the break when he stroked home following an intricate defence-splitting pass from Gent, only to see the linesman's flag raised.
Moments later, Frith saw his strike denied by a last-gasp block near the line.
Conor Hourihane made a double change at the break as Phillips, on a booking, replaced by Kelly whilst captain Luca Connell came on for Jaló.

Kelly got on the end of Jonathon Bland's cross but could only direct his header into the grateful hands of Bass.

It was another good move from the visitors to break the deadlock ith 15 minutes to go and it ended with Farrugia putting the ball on a plate for Kelly to stroke home the winner.
Posh huffed and puffed to try and find an equaliser, but their best effort was Harley Mills' tame effort at Cooper.
The Tykes pushed for a second with Bass making a trio of late saves to keep the hosts in the hunt.
