PUPILS at Barnsley Academy have been learning how to stay safe online.
Academy students took part in a number of workshops with police as part of their personal, social and health education.
The workshops, delivered by Amelix Youth Projects, cover topics including drug misuse, how to keep safe online and the awareness of social media sites including Facebook and Snapchat.
They have been funded by Police and Crime Commissioner for South Yorkshire Alan Billings and the idea is to reduce antisocial behaviour and alert young people to a range of dangers.
