BARNSLEY dementia sufferer Gareth Wilmot was the inspiration behind an organisation to help improve the lives of dementia sufferers in care homes.
Gareth, formerly of Goldthorpe, was just 36 when he was diagnosed with fronto-temporal dementia with Pick’s Disease. He is now in a care home.

A photograph of her sharing a moment with a resident during one of these activities has now been placed in the final 50 of the Care on Camera photography competition being run by The Royal College of Nursing to celebrate its centenary.
