TWO arson attacks on two houses half a mile apart on the same day both ended without injury after the quick thinking of neighbours.
Dave Gough said he felt lucky to be alive after separate fires were lit at both the front door and back door of his home early on Saturday.
A wheelie bin was set on fire and pushed up to his front door while he slept upstairs, while another fire was lit at his back door.
“I got a knock at the door at 6am as my bin was well alight,” said Dave, 53, of Raley Street, Barnsley.
