BARNSLEY is experiencing the highest levels of overall deprivation in the county, according to a a new survey.
The Vital Signs 2018 by South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation showed deprivation and homelessness were top concerns.
However, Barnsley residents have the highest level of a sense of belonging in their communities.
The town was also found to have the most affordable homes in South Yorkshire.
