POLICE are probing the death of a Barnsley man who was found dead on his door step.
A postman doing his rounds on Monday lunchtime discovered Geoff Hunt, 50, lying on the floor outside his council house on Malham Court, off Summer Lane, with serious head injuries.
Police spent the rest of the day in the area and yesterday detectives and forensic officers were scouring the front garden and inside Mr Hunt's home looking for clues as to how he died.
A post-mortem examination revealed he died of head injuries but police still don't know how he got them.
