LABOUR'S Eric Illsley, MP for Barnsley Central, has been charged with three offences of false accounting over his parliamentary expenses. He made a statement to the Barnsley Chronicle yesterday. He said: "I do not know why I have been singled out for prosecution and can only reiterate that I will do everything I can to clear my name."
