A mini music festival has been organised to raise money for a three-year-old from Honeywell with a brain tumour.
‘Webbstock’ will be held at Che Bar, Peel Street, to raise money for Ebony Webb on April 3 – Mother’s Day.
Her family are hoping to take her to America for treatment unavailable in the UK.The event will feature several bands, a dance troupe, and other entertainment including a bucking bronco, raffle and barbecue.Organiser Steve Laycock said he hoped people would get behind the cause.
“It should be a great day with something to do for all the family. There will be face painting and plenty for youngsters to do,” he said.
A fund-raising stall on Cheapside, Barnsley, on March 5 raised £1,328. To donate to the Ebony Webb support fund, at Buddies Children’s Centre where she attends, call 320510.
