OLIVER Rowland increased his lead at the top of the Formula E standings with an excellent weekend in Monaco.
The Penistone man finished first then second to go 48 points clear after seven out of 16 races in the electric car championship.
After qualifying in second for the first race, he slipped down to third but some late overtaking saw him take the win.
He was on pole for the second race and, after swapping places with former team-mate Seb Buemi several times, had to settle for second.
Nissan driver Rowland said: “It doesn’t get that much better than finishing first and second in Monaco.
“In the first race, we did a great job on the strategy and timed the pit boost and attack mode perfectly to get the win.
“I had some overtakes to make towards the end of the race, but we executed it perfectly.
“On Sunday, I lost some time during the race being stuck in second, and then we dealt with the 50/50 overtake where I had to return the position to avoid a penalty.
“Second is still a great result, it’s been a strong weekend with the victory and the pole position. So I’ll aim to keep this momentum going for next time in Tokyo – it’s not only our home race but also a track I enjoyed last season, so I can’t wait to be there.”
They are now due to compete in Tokyo and Shanghai this month before completing the season in Jakarta, Berlin and then London in July.
