THERE is a Barnsley one, two at the top of NCEL Division One after Worsbrough Bridge moved into second place behind Dearne and District.
Dearne are in the only automatic promotion place on 43 points from 18 games. But Bridge are three points behind with a game in hand, while both clubs have a points gap to the teams outside the four play-off places which is in double figures.
Dearne lost the play-off final to Wombwell Town last season while Bridge just missed out on the play-offs with a club record points tally they are on course to beat this season.
Bridge have won 13 of their last 15 league games, including eight straight away victories.
They came from 2-0 down to win 4-2 at Goole AFC on Tuesday.
The hosts scored twice in the first 21 minutes but Connor Glavin netted a penalty just before the break to get the Briggers back in the game.
Keelan Grist levelled in the second half then Glavin scored another penalty minutes later to put the visitors in front.
Grist completed the win in the final seconds.
Wombwell Town lost 3-1 at Golcar United in the NCEL Premier Division on Tuesday.
The hosts took the lead after ten minutes then Liam Owen levelled on the hour-mark.
But Golcar scored two late penalties to win.
The first was after Rhys Walwyn-Alsop fell to the ground amid claims of a foul and touched the ball with his hands.
Town – who were promoted last season – are now 18th, one place and one point clear of the relegation zone, having collected 13 points from 15 games so far.
They are winless in ten with six defeats.
Their eight away games in the league this season have brought one draw and seven losses.
