ALMOST £5,000 has been raised for a grieving family following the death of a Cudworth man.
Liam Green, 45, was fatally struck by a car on Rose Tree Avenue, Cudworth, on April 3.
A Go Fund Me page, which was set up to help pay for funeral costs and a memorial bench in Cudworth Park, has already raised £4,800 more than treble its initial target.
A statement from Mr Green’s brother, Shane Green, said: “A lot of people have come forward wanting to donate to help.
“The whole family would appreciate any donations, no matter how small, during this difficult time.”
Mark Wigley, 60, Sarah Louise Wigley, 38, and Neil Shaw, 53, all of Royston Road, Cudworth, were all charged with murder and remanded into custody.
A 33-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were also arrested on suspicion of murder and remain on bail.
