Barnsley got its first look at 'Houghton's Fountains' today.
Workmen switched on the waterworks this morning for a test ahead of their official opening at 6pm on Wednesday.
The fountains complete the new paved square, which has yet to be named, and represent the final stage of the Experience Barnsley redevelopment.
Although the fountains have been nicknamed after council leader Sir Steve Houghton, the square itself has yet to be named after the suggestion of 'Lancaster Square' was dropped.
They will be officially opened on Wednesday at 6pm.
