A SOLDIER from Barnsley who lost his leg when ‘a Muslim blew him up’ has paid tribute to the many more Muslims who saved his life and helped him put his life back together.
Iraq veteran Chris Herbert lost his right leg in a roadside bomb blast in 2007.
He blasted racists in his Facebook ‘rant’ which has been seen by millions of people, including Harry Potter author J K Rowling who shared a link to Chris’s rant.
He writes: “Yes. A Muslim man blew me up, and I lost my leg. A Muslim medic was in the helicopter that took me from the field. A Muslim surgeon performed the surgery that saved my life.”
