A WOMBWELL dog is hoping to get the best festive gift of them all - a home for Christmas.
Thomas, a Staffordshire bull terrier and lurcher cross, is Wombwell Radar Dog Rescue’s longest resident.
He has been staying in the rescue’s rented kennels, at Netherlands, Kilnhurst, for seven months, and Radar’s Andy Booth said Thomas had been in kennels before they took him, meaning he had been in kennels for more than a year.
