DEARNE MP John Healey is backing a campaign which sees funds pumped into community projects in Goldthorpe.
The micro-grant scheme, ran by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, will have a showcase event on Friday January 22 at Cherry Tree Court.
At the event a number of local groups will be presented with a combined £5,000 to help them with their work.
The projects are aimed at regenerating Goldthorpe. The event takes place between 4pm and 6pm.
