A ROYSTON woman who has planned a trip to help refugees in Kurdistan has urged local people to get involved with the relief project.
Sue McGougan-Micklethwaite, of Newtown Avenue, is travelling to the war-torn region on March 18 for the third in a series of trips abroad to help those who are fleeing from ISIS.
The 66-year-old, who went to the island of Kos twice last year to hand supplies out to refugees, has received tonnes of clothes from generous Royston residents in the past.
