A DECISION on the future of Blacker Hill community hub has still not been made - just weeks ahead of the council’s deadline for a review of the building’s use.
The centre, and the Sure Start Centre in Jump, are both facing council scrutiny - with the Jump losing its child care services from the end of March.
At Jump there have already been seven job losses as it changes from a Sure Start Centre to a family centre, providing fewer services than it offered before.
Both centres are run by Forge Community Partnership, which has lost its council contract to run services from next month.
