A BARNSLEY family are really cool after becoming hooked on ice skating and gliding through the ranks of a national skating programme.
Donna Shenton, 32, first took her two daughters, Holly, eight, and six-year-old Isla skating in 2012.
The sisters have since developed their skating skills on iceSheffield’s Learn to Skate programme and are now regularly performing and competing.
And, after being inspired by her daughters, Donna herself has now got in on the act and has completed four Skate UK qualifications.
