CONCERNED elderly folk fear they be ‘shut off’ if sweeping changes to Barnsley’s bus route network go ahead.
South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive is out to public consultation over the proposals which will see some services shortened or scrapped altogether and other remain unaffected.
Pensioners living on Longley Street in Barugh Green fear they will be hung out to dry by transport bosses as drastic changes planned for the number 92 bus service mean it will completely bypass their street.
