THE weather played an unusual part in some Barnsley police work.
Two Barnsley bobbies found a man passed out in the early hours after what appeared to be a night of heavy drinking.
After waking the man, who was clutching a takeaway whilst taking a kip on Kingsway, Mapplewell, he didn’t believe he had been asleep on the floor.
But he had no choice when he spotted the outline he had left behind in the rain.
And quick-thinking PC Rebecca Robinson, from Barnsley West local policing team, took a snap of the unusual sight.
