A SCHOOL has called in PCSOs to patrol the area around its gates because of parking problems caused by irresponsible motorists.
Tankersley St Peter's primary school has seen congestion grow substantially in recent years and double yellow lines were installed around the junction of New Road and Westwood New Road to help keep the road clear, but they are ignored by some drivers.
Vehicles are also sometimes left parked around a traffic island in the centre of the junction, as well as blocking bus stops on both New Road and Westwood New Road.
