A PLAYGROUP has been praised by Ofsted after the education watchdog’s latest inspection.
Shafton Playgroup, which operates from Shafton Community Centre, was told it required improvement when inspectors visited in January but it’s now one which is flourishing after scoring a ‘good’ rating across the board.
Its management’s leadership, teaching quality and children’s behaviour and development were all stand-out achievements for the playgroup, which has 22 two to four-year-olds on its roll, when it was visited last month by inspector Nicola Dickinson.
