A NEW nursery will open in the former home of Brierley Town Council.
The Chronicle revealed last week that Barnsley Council, who took over Grimethorpe Welfare Hall, had found a new tenant for the Clear View venue which has been closed since last September.
Chantelle Schofield, from Havercroft, owns Wiggles and Giggles Nursery and is holding an open day tomorrow from 11am until 4pm.
"I researched Grimethorpe and it's an area with a lot of kids but little in the way of support so I hope to provide that," she told the Chronicle. "The nursery will be open from Monday to Friday and hopefully the open day will give information to parents and carers."
