THE Chronicle's former Face of Barnsley Soshain Shehadeh is celebrating after getting a superb set of A-levels.
She's got brains as well as beauty - and has the certificate to prove it.
She got As in drama, English language and media studies and a B in English literature, enough to secure her a place at York University to do a drama degree.
It was a tense day for students across Barnsley yesterday when the results were revealed and Soshain, 19, of Doles Crescent, Royston, was among hundreds who formed a queue outside Barnsley College.
She said: "I haven't slept for days I have been so worried." But now the worry is over and yesterday she celebrated with friends.
There was also joy for the Brennan family, of Pontefract Road, Cudworth. Victoria, 19, got two As and two Bs and is off to study medicine at Leeds. Her 'straight-As' brother, Matthew, got four A-levels and an AS-level in further maths and is going to York to do maths.
