COMEDIAN Dave Spikey, famous for his starring role in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, is coming back to Barnsley with a new stand-up show later this year.
Dave’s Juggling on a Motorbike show comes to The Civic on October 27. It follows his sell-out show at the venue last April.
His new show marks his 30 years in the business, which began in 1987 when having worked as an NHS biomedical scientist he was crowned the winner of the national talent show Stairway to the Stars. Larry Grayson, one of the judges, told him the clincher was his routine about a juggler on a motorbike.
