COUNCIL chiefs have today gone ahead with a decision to bin unpopular white paper recycling sacks.
The move will see the council do away with the controversial white sacks and instead collect all paper and cardboard together in the blue recycling bin, after senior councillors approved the proposal this morning.
Coun Roy Miller told fellow cabinet members ditching the unpopular sacks ‘proves the council listens to its residents’.
