MORE than 100 jobs will be created at Capitol Park, Dodworth when the advice service Business Link opens a regional co-ordination centre.
The centre will occupy the ground floor and half of the first floor of an office block known as Capitol Court.
Business Link’s ‘information gateways’ in Leeds, York, Hull and Doncaster will be centralised at Dodworth from April.
Capitol Park’s closeness to the M1 and the Barnsley to Manchester route is believed to have been a major reason for Business Link’s decision.
Meanwhile, King’s Specialist Dental Surgery on Market Hill has taken a 4,000 sq ft office at the business park. The move will allow the development of a specialist practice serving patients and other dentists.
Some 13 receptionists, nurses, dental surgeons and managerial staff will work at the building. The practice will continue to operate in the town centre.
