MUSIC fans arrived in style when they rocked up to the Battle of the Bands - in a boogie bus.
The revellers sang all the way to support The Paradigms in the competition to decide Barnsley's finest group.
The karaoke bus picked up 55 fans from Hoyland, Elsecar, Jump and Birdwell to take them to the contest at Lucorum in Barnsley.
David Lewis, whose son George plays guitar in the group, organised the funky transport.
He said: "They had plenty of people who were going to watch them so I thought rather than take 30 cars we could get a bus so people could enjoy it.
"I have never been in one before and you would never get me singing but a few others did."
The five lads who make up the 'energetic Indie rock' group all live in Hoyland, Elsecar and Birdwell so had plenty of support.
They had to fight through several rounds of music play-offs to reach the final of the competition last night.
Lead singer Gary Hamer, 23, said the group had been going for just over a year and a new bassist joined three months ago.
He said: "For the final we had to do a 40 minute set so we have had to get a few more songs together to perform in front of the judging panel."
The band have been touring the UK with gigs in Newcastle, Leeds, Wakefield and Doncaster. "It's been hard work to get here but we've really enjoyed it."
