THE distraught mother of a 14-year-old girl who went missing on Monday has appealed for her to get in contact.
Jodie Arnold, from Foley Avenue, Wombwell was last seen at about 11am getting on the number 226 bus on Wombwell High Street.
She was heading in to Barnsley and police believe she may have got onto a train at Barnsley interchange. Her mother Rowena Bradley said she was 'worried sick' when her daughter did not return home.
She said: "I cannot sleep, I am waiting on the sofa every night in case she comes through the door. "I am distraught and her grandparents are heartbroken. They can't sleep either."
Rowena told the Chronicle that this was the second time in two months that the Wombwell High pupil had run away.
