PUPILS at West Meadows Primary, Hoyland encountered spiders, snakes, lizards and other animals on Wednesday.
The school was visited for the first time by a business called Animals In-Tuition which links with children learning science.
The pupils between five and eight were also shown sugar gliders, marsupials which look a bit like bush babies, by Jo Speight, wife of Animals in-Tuition's boss, Rob Speight.
