BARNSLEY went hopping mad on Wednesday as hundreds of youngsters were let loose on inflatable hoppers in the town centre.
College students and school pupils took part and turned Cheapside into a bouncing sea of yellow and green.
Art and design student Leanne Kitchen, 17, said: "It has been very good fun. I enjoyed it."
The great Barnsley bounce off was organised by Barnsley Live which has planned a summer of cultural events to attract more people to the town centre.
