FASHION designer Rebecca Rhoades is preparing for a major fashion show in London where she wants to promote Barnsley.
Rebecca, 29, of Champany Fields, Dodworth, runs her Boutique label from a studio in The Civic.
She designs women's clothing that sells for up to £350 per item and this weekend will be showing her autumn and winter creations to thousands of international fashion buyers.
She said: "I don't suppose people instantly think of high fashion when they think of Barnsley but I am a British brand, a Barnsley brand and I don't see any problem with promoting that."
Rebecca's clothes are already sold at shops across the UK and as far away as Japan.
