TWO aerial fitters hope to get a good reception when they scrap thousands of used antennas for charity.
Brothers Lee and Dean Tattersall of SOS Aerials on Doncaster Road, Stairfoot, have accumulated thousands over the years.
"For every aerial we put up we take at least one down, sometimes three," said Lee, 38.
"Instead of throwing them away, we've collected them and we've got loads now. "We're going to take them to a scrap dealers and thought we'd donate the money to charity rather than keep it ourselves."
It took the pair of them just ten months to accumulate the pile and they have more stored elsewhere. Anyone with a suggestion for a local charity should call them on 218877.
