A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has been expelled from a Darfield school after allegedly attacking a fellow pupil with a pencil sharpener blade.

Police were called to the Foulstone school last Monday morning following the incident in which a 16-year-old suffered minor cuts to the leg.

The victim, Ryan Bramley, was taken to Barnsley Hospital. Police have this week confirmed that a 14-year-old was arrested the following day on suspicion of actual bodily harm and released on bail until March.

Ryan's dad, Nigel, said his son was now back at school but wants to put the incident behind him and get on with his final exams.
