A music teacher who took classes at Take 2 Theatre school in Birdwell is being questioned on suspicion of murder after his partner's body was found in a suitcase.
Andrew Lindo, 28, is being held by West Yorkshire police after the badly decomposed body of Marie Stewart, 30, was found on Sunday.
Theatre boss Geoff Whitfield declined to comment but confirmed he had been spoken to by officers investigating the death.
Mrs Stewart was found in the garage of a home in Holmfirth. A post mortem examination found she had been beaten and stabbed.

Police searched the premises after neighbours raised concerns they had not seen Mrs Stewart for weeks.
