A photograph of the man who was shot in the head at the weekend has been released by police.
Lee William Gray, 32, was found dead at his home on Greenwood Avenue, Bank End, on Saturday morning, sparking a murder probe.
A post mortem carried out on Sunday confirmed Mr Gray had died of gunshot wounds to the head. A man and a woman, both in their early-30s, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are being quizzed by detectives.
Tribute messages have been left to Mr Gray on the Chronicle Facebook page, facebook.com/barnsleychronicleonline. Hannah Kelsey Byford wrote: "My heart goes out to all his family and loved ones xx."
