A pub landlord has decided to beat the prices at the pumps by creating biodiesel out of vegetable oil in his greenhouse.
Phil Hickling, of the Milton Arms, Elsecar, spent about £2,500 on equipment but is now able to make up to 2,499 litres of fuel, duty free, for as little as 10p per litre.
