LUCY Clark has been a bridesmaid, spoken a few words of Spanish and mastered swimming underwater since toddling to victory in last year’s Bonny Baby competition.
This year’s winner will not necessarily have to be so talented - he or she just has to be recognised as the cutest tot in the town by our expert panel of judges.
Lucy, who celebrates her second birthday this month, learned to say “thank you”, “goodbye” and “see you in the morning” in Spanish during a recent holiday in Spain, and she now takes regular swimming lessons.
Mother Joanne said: “She’s a very good talker. An old Spanish lady taught her a few words, and she was really good.
“She’s just moved into the higher class in swimming, and she can swim underwater. She’s taken to it naturally.”
