These boys clearly have good taste in films - a flux capacitor being what enabled the DeLorean to travel through time in 1980s classic trilogy, Back to the Future.

But they are clearly a band for the here and now, with guitarist Andy Taylor describing them as a “good time rock and roll band”.

They name some oldies as influences, including the Beatles, Kiss and underrated band Terrorvision. The Beastie Boys and Oasis also get a mention in an intriguing mix.

The line up is completed by Paul Holden on drums, Scott Heald on bass and vocals, and Dave Reybould on guitar.

Andy added: “Playing in the battle of the bands on Tuesday is going to be really good, hopefully we’ll have a have a good crowd and a lot of support.”
