BARNSLEY Council are encouraging residents to share their views on crime and antisocial behaviour through its annual survey.
The Safer Barnsley Partnership’s community safety survey is carried out every year to capture local people’s views on all types of crime and antisocial behaviour within their communities and wider borough.
The council say it helps shape the council’s plan for the upcoming year.
Coun Wendy Cain, cabinet spokesperson for public health and communities, said: “I would strongly urge everyone who lives, works or visits Barnsley to take part in our annual survey and have their say on crime and antisocial behaviour in Barnsley.
“Your feedback is crucial in helping us understand the challenges you face so we can get a full picture of what residents are experiencing.
“The Safer Barnsley Partnership can then build resources and plans that tackle the local issues you face./
“By coming together through this partnership and reaching out to residents, we can address our shared vision to provide a safe community for Barnsley’s residents, businesses and visitors.
“Everyone deserves to feel welcome and safe wherever they are in our borough, and by working together we can achieve this.”
The survey can be found on the council website and closes on September 30.
Anyone who does not have access to the internet can visit their local library.
