Reyes Cleary's astonishing 60-yard strike has won the League One goal of the month award.

The goal against Bradford City was deemed better than strikes from Dom Ballard (Leyton Orient), Rhys Oates (Mansfield Town) and Harvey White (Stevenage).

It was a stunning goal and moment in the match which ended in a 2-2 draw.

Cleary said: “I’m honoured to receive this award.

"A goal from sixty yards is something you don’t score every day, but it came from the team’s hard work and the confidence they give me. I’m just glad it helped us on the day.”

Lead Sky Bet EFL Goal of the Month judge and Sky Sports Pundit Don Goodman said: “There was only going to be one winner in League One this month.

"Reyes Cleary caught the keeper off his line from a good 60 yards out an inch perfect lob that dropped just below the crossbar.
