OPPOSITION VIEW
Ben Jones, Peterborough Telegraph
After a positive start under Luke Williams in which Posh beat Cardiff, Wimbledon and Stockport, the new manager bounce seems to have worn off and they have slipped back into conceding goals and struggling to create.
They have lost three in a row and have struggled to pose a threat at the top of the pitch, looking poor and slow on the ball and frequently giving it away trying to play out from the back.
They play with wingers but struggle to rotate them due to fitness and the lack of quality for set-pieces, balls forward and crosses etc cetera often leaves the forwards without much service.

Darrell Clarke’s Barnsley followed up their Boxing Day win in Bolton with another away success. After a goalless first half, Donovan Pines’ fine finish put them in front then Davis Keillor-Dunn doubled the lead from a clever set piece routine. Malik Mothersille netted a penalty after a foul by Conor McCarthy but Harley Mills was sent off for a wild challenge on Corey O’Keeffe then Jon Russell secured the win with an excellent goal.

Barnsley’s only clean sheet of the season until their recent thrashing of Luton. Caylan Vickers’ shot was headed into his own net by David Okagbue just before half-time. Both sides had chances with Gustav Lindgren missing a big one deep in injury-time.
